About John

Aloha, I have been involved in the training industry for 18 years. I got started because of a back injury. I had been involved in sports my entire life, and worked out regularly since high school. When I hurt my back, I decided to hire a personal trainer to help me after Physical Therapy. After working with my trainer for about 2 weeks I realized I did not actually know what I was doing with some of my lifts. After 2 months I was thinking that there has to be more people like me, so I decided to get certified and actually learn the proper way to exercise safe and efficiently. My specialty is functional exercising and educating clients to have fitness as a part of their lives forever. I use lots of body weight exercises, Kettlebells and bands.
